Audio amplifier with EL84 tube.

WHAT CAN I USE AN OLD RADIO WRECK TO?

I found an old Tandberg Sølvsuper 75 in the garbage.
What can I use this for? The radio is from 1959, and was
one of the first stereo amplifiers.

Tandberg Sølvsuper 75

I build a stereo amplifier in an IKEA box of the parts from the Tandberg radio.

Inside the amplifier. Tandberg output trafos and Tandbrg power trafo.

Have my "own way" to make tube amplifiers. Each stage has its own feedback. I use a form of feedback that is not so common in older tube design. Have a feedback via a resistor from the anode to the grid. Also has a series resistance to the grid. These resistors determine the gain in the stage. I do this to get good sound. Have listened, and I like this sound.
V1 = ECC83, V2 = EL84

The entire project took only a couple of hours to create. I tested on two large Paradigm speakers with good results. It sounds nice.
