meter amateur bands. It is built with components designed for studio use. The result is very good. |
It is built into an IKEA box.
| To the right we have the oscillator. An LED is used to illuminate the scale. A 74HC14 is used in the the oscillator. The antenna signal is mixed with the oscillator signal in Mini-Circuits mixer. The signal from the mixer is an audio signal is amplified as 40 dB in a low noise microphone amplifier from THAT Corp. Then to the filtering and amplification with volume control. So finally a 5 Watt audio amplifier. |
